Tired

Sorry for the lack of posting these days. I really hoped to get some new things up this week, but alas, no such luck. Let's just say that parenting is kicking my hiney this week and I have been lacking in time and energy to post anything interesting.

We've been working like crazy on our yard. Grass seed goes down on Tuesday, so everything needs to be done by then. That means that my awesome hubby is outside from mid-day to dark, working to get things done - sprinkler system he's installing himself (with the help of a friend, thanks Craig!), building a fence, planting, barkdusting. I'm trying to help any way I can and the one way I can is by watching Trevin, and wow, that boy needs watching right now! He has suddenly discovered EVERYTHING. He's hitting that phase where he wants everything and gets mad when he can't have it. He hates when I change his clothes or diaper. He just wants to move. It's a fun phase, T is talking a lot and learning new skills daily, but it's also hard. I know all you moms have been there. Nothing gets done when you want it to, bedtime rolls around and you have no energy left to do what you had hoped to get done. On top of that, with a hubby that is busy working outside, there's no one to help when your 16-month-old is getting a little crazy. I do not know how single moms do it. Amazing. I know this time will pass, I'm enjoying what I can right now.

Anyway, that said, there hasn't been time for posting, but hopefully soon. Lots to share. Fun pics, maybe interesting stories. I'm missing blogland just a little, but kind of enjoying the break, too.

I totally know how you feel! Emily was 5 or 6 months old while Tripp was remodeling our kitchen, before we moved in. I really wanted to help, but the only thing I could do to "help" was keep the kids out of the way. It's so hard because you don't get that break. You have the right attitude about it though. Good to see a post from you though, been wondering how you've been!

good to hear from you! it sounds like you're keeping a good perspective on things, finding the joys despite the many challenges. i can't believe trevin is growing up so quickly. also, i can't believe you're so far along in your pregnancy! where does the time go??
