If I actually wrote a Christmas letter

...it might include the following:

~Bryce is still working as an insurance agent. As with most businesses in this economy, he has not been immune to the effects of the economic downturn. For the first time since he started in the insurance business, Bryce has gone backwards in policies, losing households to other companies with cheaper rates. It's not the most fun time at work for him, but we both know and trust that things will turn around. God continues to provide and just this month, Bryce has written a few new policies. Woo hoo! In the meantime, when he's not working, Bryce is busy being an excellent daddy to Trevin. He also still enjoys ultimate frisbee every Sunday, disc golf every Friday (weather permitting), and board games.

~Audrey continues with her position as "executive homemaker." Sometimes she does not feel like quite the "executive." There are days when dishes stay in the sink, the bed does not get made, and she has no idea what to cook for dinner. She spends much of her time playing with and taking care of Trevin, or as we affectionately call him, "T-dog." She is serving on the MOMS leadership team at church, writing the newsletter and taking care of communication for the group. That has kept her quite busy this fall. She is also nesting in a MAJOR way, as she is pregnant with baby boy #2, due in February. This time around has been a little more difficult, as she's got a toddler to chase around and less time to relax, plus morning sickness entered the picture (at least for the first trimester) this time around making everything a little more trying. The question she gets asked is "do you miss teaching?" If she's completely honest, her answer is no. Home is the best place right now, even if she feels much busier now than she did when she was teaching full-time!

~Trevin is growing into quite the little boy these days. 2009 brought about lots of changes and development. God has blessed us beyond belief with this little man and all that he is and does. He has been a great sleeper and good player. He's also a pretty good communicator. He has conversations with himself and with us (though we have NO IDEA what he's saying) and then finds himself absolutely hilarious, as he laughs at what he's just said. He obeys most of the time, though we find that he is exercising his independence and strong will more and more these days. Diaper changes are apparently the worst thing we put him through. He will use all of his strength and determination to avoid them. With that being the worst we deal with, I think we've got it pretty good.

~Baby boy #2 (otherwise known as baby 'T' - sorry, I have to keep his name a surprise somewhere...), currently 32 weeks gestational age, is growing well and is active as can be. Like his big brother was, he has been especially nice to momma, not kicking her ribs or being too terribly crazy inside her belly. We'll have to wait and see if he tries to pull the same stunt that Trevin did and come a month early. We're, of course, praying that that doesn't happen, but we'll be ready just in case. We can't wait to meet the new addition to the family, though maybe we can for just a little while longer! :)

Then I'd close with something like:

We pray that God brings you joy and peace this Christmas season. May the coming year be full of blessings, health, and happiness.

Sincerely,
Bryce, Audrey, Trevin, and baby 'T'

Then you'd get a picture like this...
But you already know most of those things, so I didn't write a Christmas letter. Or wait, maybe I just did...
