"Not me!" Monday

"Not me!" Monday is here again. Enjoy!

Trevin is getting very curious, so when he saw the big black X-box with the green light, he had to press the button. After pressing the button, which caused the machine to make a loud noise as the disc tray opened, he did NOT freak out, crying and backing away in fear. And if this had happened, he definitely would not do the same thing again. And if that had actually happened, I definitely would NOT have tried to convince him it was not scary by pushing the button myself, in turn causing Trevin to FREAK out even more.

I did not watch The Birth Story on TLC several times this week, and cry nearly every time. I would not do that to myself.

While reading Trevin a story, I did NOT make a cat noise when I came to a picture of a bear. This did not happen while my sister was recording me on camera, unbeknown to me. I did not happen to delete that recording, because it just wasn't very good. :)

I was not way too proud of myself after making a homemade dinner for my family on Saturday night. Mushroom chicken, rice pilaf, and salad is not that impressive of a meal. Plus, lately, I've been cooking homemade meals every night, so Saturday was no different.

My belly is NOT looking like it did when I was about 20 weeks along with Trevin. I'm only 11 weeks along now, and there is no way my belly would stretch so quickly this time.

Bryce and I decided to stop by Starbucks this morning on our drive home from our friends' cabin. We hardly ever go to Starbucks, so we definitely did NOT decide to go this morning. If we had, though, we definitely would not have ordered a mocha and a hot chocolate, causing the girl taking our order to laugh and say "and your amazing total is...$5.78." Apparently, $5.78 is not enough to spend for two tall drinks. Whatever.

Because I am so great about making homemade meals all the time, I did not suggest that we go out for a much deserved meal at Applebees. After all, we did have a coupon for a free dessert, a VISA gift card that needed to be used, AND Bryce heard that kids eat free there on Mondays. Perfect! Our trip there did NOT start with us seeing on the menu that kids eat for 99 cents on Wednesdays, not free on Mondays. As we ordered anyway, the waitress did not say "o-kay" (note the inflection) and walk away as we ordered our waters and a milk for Trevin. After we ordered, the waitress did not forget about Trevin's hamburger, then bring it halfway through our meal. As we were almost done with our meal, having ordered the 2 for $20 special with 2 entrees and an appetizer, we did NOT hear the waitress kindly recommend to the table behind us that they take advantage of the $3 appetizer special instead of the 2 for $20, because it was a much better deal. She did not then continue to tell them all the other delicious things they could get for $3. Excuse me? Bryce and I were NOT at all upset that we missed out on the cheaper dinner because our waitress "forgot" to tell us about the specials, especially when the table next to us received their four huge appetizer plates that looked delicious. Nope, we weren't upset at all. And to top off the wonderful dinner out, we did NOT skip dessert after noticing that our coupon had expired or forget to use our gift card. Nope, not us!

What did YOU not do this week?
