"Not me!" Monday

It's been awhile, but I felt like it was time for a "'Not me!' Monday" post. Here are all of things that have NOT happened in our neck of the woods, no matter what the fly on the wall tries to tell you.

Trevin did NOT finally (and happily) stay in the nursery at church last Sunday, then again on Thursday. NO problems at all. He hates being in the nursery and has never let us leave without lots of tears.

Then, to really show us how much he hates the nursery (or is it how much WE hate the nursery?), he did not come down with a cold yesterday, which he surely caught while spending time with all those little darlings. My son always never gets sick, ever...and he certainly wouldn't think to come down with a cold just days before his little brother should be arriving.

I am not actually getting excited about going into labor and delivering this baby. I don't get goosebumps thinking about it or cry ridiculous tears of joy while watching Birth Day or The Baby Story on TLC. I know it's going to hurt...LIKE CRAZY...so I am totally NOT excited to actually go through that again.

I am not getting ridiculously cranky waiting for baby T to arrive. I am not frustrated that I am READY and he's not here yet. I am not frustrated that he is very likely going to be a good bit bigger than his brother was at birth. I am not frustrated that I am sore and achy, and HUGE (oh, and I especially love it when people tell me I'm huge...in so many words...). I'm also not frustrated with the fact that my maternity clothes are no longer fitting very well.

While we're talking about my huge belly, yesterday morning, I did not knock over my already sick son while we were both trying to move past the bathroom door. My belly did not accidentally bump him into the dresser, causing him to hit his face on the corner, then fall backwards to the floor. Since that would never happen, I of course had nothing to feel terrible about and had no reason to snuggle with him for a few minutes.

To pass the time away, Bryce and I have been playing our new Ticket to Ride: Europe game. I have NOT lost 7 of the 8 games that we've played in the last few days, nor did I make Bryce keep playing with me last night until I won at least one game. It did not take 8 games for me to win. I am not that unlucky and I am certainly not that persistent. Ever.

And that's all I've got. Care to share any fun things you have NOT done lately?
