"Not me!" Monday

"Not me!" Monday! It's my favorite blogging day, though lately, my weeks have been a little lacking in anything humorous. So again, like last week, I'll do my best to share all the things I didn't do this week. And now, for your reading pleasure...

I currently do not have three (two unopened) tubs of bean dip in my fridge that have been there for the last month. When Costco sells delicious organic salsa and packages it with a tub of bean dip that I don't like, I don't buy it anyway and just save the bean dip in my fridge until I forget about it, then throw the full, expired container away.

I did not spend three hours cleaning my kitchen on Saturday. I especially would not spend three hours (an hour after each meal) just doing dishes, wiping counters, and tidying up. My kitchen is not that small, I'm not a messy cook, and feeding Trevin does not cause that much of a mess. There is no way I would need to spend that long in the kitchen after each meal. And I am totally NOT that obsessive about a clean kitchen.

I did not get the least bit tired of doing everything for Trevin this weekend while Bryce was recouperating from a 24 hour bout with a stomach bug. Being the wonderful wife that I am, I was understanding of my husband's need to rest and recouperate and wanted him to completely recover before asking him to help with Trevin. I, of course, would show compassion on my ailing husband and would understand that I am, in fact, very very blessed to have a husband that is normally very healthy, a husband who is involved with and interested in our child, and a husband, period.

I did not manage to workout only once this week. I know that exercising makes me feel better, so I obviously would try to workout when I can. I did not, instead, find any excuse under the sun to stay home and get projects done. By the end of the week, I did not feel icky and sluggish and wish I would've just taken my hiney out for a run.

I did not speak too soon last night when I said to Bryce, "Wow, Trevin has gone down for his naps and bedtime really easily this week." Trevin did not then proceed to fuss and cry for a good hour before falling asleep. He did not then wake up twice in the middle of last night, and is not crying at this very moment because he does not want to take a nap.

Well, that's it. What did you not do?

Now check out MckMama, where this blog carnival started and find out what everyone else did NOT do.
