"Not me!" Monday

It's time again for "Not me!" Monday. I have to admit, there's not much to share this week, but I'll do my best.

After deciding to limit my computer time for Lent, I did not feel a magnetic force pulling me toward my computer all day on Thursday. I'm not that addicted to this thing and can easily break a habit like heading to the computer as soon as I have a free moment. I did not, instead, thoroughly enjoy time reading in my Bible and actually accomplishing things around the house.

While taking time to read my Bible and enjoy my cup of peppermint tea, I most certainly was not lazy enough to avoid going downstairs to grab a coaster for my tea that I instead used a nursing pad as the coaster. I also would NEVER take a picture of it for my blog. That would be silly.

After getting a new sideboard for our family room, I did not want new lamps to go with it. I did not ask Bryce to come with me to Costco to buy these lamps after church on Sunday. And after we got these lamps home, I did not decide that they were the wrong size and style. I also definitely DID NOT make Bryce take me to Costco again on the same day to exchange the lamps for the other style. And never would I ask him to go into Costco and take care of the entire thing on his own, while I nursed Trevin in the car. And Bryce is not so great that he would agree to any of my shenanigans.

Finally, I did not get a lump in my throat tonight while I watched Trevin and Bryce playing together. Trevin does not completely love his daddy and enjoy every minute he gets to spend with him. Bryce is not so crazy about his son that he would do anything to make him smile. I am not such a sap that I would actually tear up over the two of them playing together.
