My first cake "masterpiece"

I had my second cake decorating class last night and we were practicing with the star tip. Our assignment was to make a rainbow on our cake using the star tip. This would not be my first choice for a cake design, but it's practice! Do you like how I put Bryce's name on the cake? I needed some writing on it and I knew he'd "love" having his name on a rainbow cake!

So here's the base icing...isn't it smooth? :-)
And here's the finished product...
Here's what it looks like on the inside...

And it actually tastes pretty good, too!

Beautiful rainbow! I'm sure bryce just loved it!

I'm glad it tasted good, even though your frosting wasn't as yummy as you'd hoped.

I LOOOVE frostign too. Have you ever been to St. Cupcake's? We should have a girls cupcake sometime. It's SO yummy.
