Once again, here are my not me's this week. Enjoy!
While checking out at Costco last Tuesday, I did not give Trevin my wallet to “play with,” allowing him to hold onto it until we got to the car. And if I had, I certainly would not forget that I did such a thing and drive 20 minutes home before I realize that my wallet is not in my purse. I did not drive all the way back to Costco, praying praying PRAYING that they had my wallet (which they did, thank God!).
I did not decide to repaint my bedroom last week. The ragging technique in two shades of light brown that I did 4 years ago was perfectly fine. It already matched the furniture and the few décor pieces we had in the room and I don’t need to complicate things by painting my room a completely different color.
I did not choose a gray-blue paint color called “cloudy day.” One, we have enough cloudy days where I live, and two, any shade of blue is a far cry from what we currently have as a bedroom décor, thus complicating the color switch.
There is no way I actually primed and painted my bedroom all in one day…a weekday, nonetheless. My son does not make house projects that incredibly easy for me.
After finishing the paint job, I did not regret my decision. The paint color, of course, turned out exactly how I expected it to, so I had no reason to be surprised by how it looked on my walls. I did not realize, after the painting was done, that I had some serious redecorating to do.
Finally, after putting my son in a cute T-shirt from the San Diego Zoo (courtesy of Grammy), Bryce did not ask, “hey, what’s coming out of the elephant’s butt?” Take a look at the picture and you tell me…(pretty sure that’s dust clouds, honey…)
What did you not do? And make sure to head over to MckMama and enjoy her “Not me!” post today.

That's a super cute shirt! I might have to snag one next time we visit the zoo. Happy Monday! My Not Me! Monday
Oh Audrey! I LOVED the color your room use to be! I've always thought that when I re-decorated our room I would go for a similar look! I'm sure the new design looks great too though!
